BOO AT THE ZOO
WONDER WOMAN
SCARY BUNCH
JASON'S WORK LSI
Most of my kids are at the age where they want to pick out their own costumes. They are out of the cute phase. Which, for boys means, scary, gory costumes. I still have my little princess though. She was suppose to be Wonder Woman, but at the last minute decided she wanted to be a ballerina. Luckily we had her costume from her Ballet recital. The next day she decided to be Wonder Woman. Just like a woman, not wanting the wear the same outfit two days in a row.
This year with Halloween being on a Sunday, I thought my kids would really miss out, but that was not the case. Friday, we went to Jason's work. We do this every year. The kids go from cubicle to cubicle getting treats. The kids never want to miss this one, because there are those that pass out the normal size candy bars. The next day, we went to "Boo at the Zoo", which we have done many years now. They have many vendors there passing out candy and treats. They also have the "granolas" passing out health bars and so forth, but we just pass them by. On Sunday, after church we went to a friends house and let the kids dress up and play and eat. We also did our own little "trick or treat" inside letting the kids go to each parent to get candy. So, between those activities my kids were able to get a boat load of junk, and didn't feel shafted at all.
You will not see Dallin in any of the pictures, because he decided he wanted to play with his friend instead of go to the activities with us, Friday and Saturday. He was still able to get plenty of treats though.
