Trail Ridge Road

We decided to take a trip up to the top of Trail Ridge Rd.(the highest rd. in the nation). It was a gorgeous day! The drive was beautiful. It reminds us why we live in Colorado. At one of the scenic stops, the chipmunks have no fear of humans. They come right up to you (expecting food obviously). The kids loved that. At the top, at the visitors center, we took a hike up a path to take a look at the view. Man, was it worth the drive (and the hike). It turned out to be a fun family outing.
